Welcome to the School of Shamanic Herbalism.

Rooted in ancient ways, blossoming in modern practice.

Our Story

In 2020, after years of shamanic practice and during her first year of Medical Herbalism training, a quiet dream took root in Suneet—a longing to awaken, teach, and share the ancient language of the Plant Kingdom in a way that empowers medicinal herbal practice. That dream seed lay dormant, waiting patiently for the right ground and conditions to germinate. That seed lay dormant until 2024, when, guided by the Plant Kingdom, Suneet began working with Kim. Their evolving collaboration naturally developed into Kim’s role as Core Facilitator, supporting the vision of the school to flourish into a living practice. Suneet serves as the owner and keeper of this work, nurturing its vision and guiding its growth, while Kim brings expertise, heart, and guidance to every program and experience.

Our Philosophy

The School of Shamanic Herbalism is the flowering of an original seed—nurtured by a commitment to living in right relationship with Grandmother Earth, the Plant Kingdom, and all our Relations. We believe that every person has a birthright to well-being - of mind, body, and soul - through the guidance and medicine of the Plant Kingdom, freely offered by Mother Earth, growing on our very doorsteps.

It is in service to the plants, the Earth, and the heart of community that we walk beside you - on the path of remembering, reclaiming, and embodying this sacred inheritance. Within the School of Shamanic Herbalism, Suneet and Kim bring their unique shamanic experiences and plant-based skills into harmony. This weaving creates a circle of wisdom, knowledge, and lived experience - capable of holding, guiding, and empowering others on their journey with Earth, body, plant, and spirit.

In this collaborative framework, we are not merely sharing knowledge - we are tending a living, ancient lineage that calls us back into sacred relationship with our local landscapes, with our bare feet on the ground and our hearts beating as one with Mother Earth. Our work nurtures budding and experienced herbalists alike, supporting the growth of eco-spiritual kin rooted in sacred reciprocity with the Green Beings who sustain us through the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the shelter we keep.

Our Vision

At the School of Shamanic Herbalism, we invite you into a sacred container where:

  • Plants and trees become wise, trusted teachers, offering medicine and guidance when met with ceremony, reverence, and reciprocity.

  • Shamanic herbalism is rooted in lived experience, guided by initiation, the medicine wheel, and plant ceremonies.

  • Sharing of herbal knowledge is transmitted through both practical application and oral traditions.

  • Learning unfolds in sacred circle and community, held with care by experienced guides, in a heart-centered space of transformation and deep remembering.

From these roots, our offerings grow—a weaving of traditional, scientific, and ancestral teachings, shaped by shamanic wisdom, our plant and tree allies, and the lived truth of our own journeys.

We look forward to welcoming you into this shared journey with the plants, the Earth, and your own soul’s essence.

Who We Are

  • Suneet Kaur

    Shamanic Practitioner & Medical Herbalist

Rooted as a cross-cultural shamanic practitioner, Suneet follows Indigenous shamanic wisdom from Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, North America, and Nepal. Her spiritual path is also woven of teachings from her familial spirituality Sikhism, her ancestral land of India, plant spirit medicine, and a deep connection to the land and nature spirits of her birth home, England.

Suneet holds space for profound transformation through the living intelligence of the Plant Kingdom guiding others into deep communion with nature and themselves.

Her journey has been stongly guided by Mugwort, the Theobroma Tree, Weeping Willow, Tulsi, Eastern White Pine (Tree of Peace), and Dandelion - among many other plant allies. A sacred ceremony with Dandelion, led Suneet to become a Medical Herbalist, graduating with distinction in 2023.

Suneet’s practice embraces both physical and spiritual health, honouring the capacity of plants to support healing on every level - body, mind, spirit, and soul. She teaches and shares from lived experience, with reverence, integrity, and a deep commitment to restoring our sacred relationship with our soul, the Plant Kingdom, and Mother Earth.
